Has Anyone Ever Painted 2nd Gen 2Dr Rear Window Black Trim in Body Color?

I am thinking about doing this to my 2001 2dr and was wondering what it would look like before I do it. I patched the oxidation a few years ago with filler and painted with black plastic rustrolium spray paint, but it needs to be repainted again.

Thanks. That's what I was looking for. I did the plastic filler. Just need to decide on the color and how much of the molding to paint. I was thinking about putting a crease at the ends of the narrow part of the molding with a hot electric iron, making it look like it's separate from the thicker top and back, painting the thin part black and the rest in the body color.
