Has anyone experienced this?

My drivers side door interior handle has to be opened twice to let me out....

I pull it once and push the door, but its obviously not opened. So I let it in and pull and the door magically opens...

I am assuming the mechanicals are breaking down/failing and that I am not completely retarded in opening a door.....

 

Just get in behind your door panel and put a slight bend in the rod leaving your handle... Mine was the same way... its normal wear.
