i recently got 4 hella lights......if i mount them on the rack like i am going to the wires will not be long enough so what kind of wire shall i buy???

just your standard 12-16 guage copper automotive wire that you can find at walmart, fleet farm, menards/homedepot/lowes, or any of the car parts stores. get at least 50 feet, that should probably be good. the guage of the wire depends on the amperage/current you are putting through them. I would go with 12 minimum cause that should definately be good for 100 watt bulbs.

also im lost on the directions!!!!! and does the bar on the bike rack come off? or will i half to get up there to mount the lights? thamks

I don't believe the rack comes off easily. I just got up there and mounted them. Becides, what other reason would you have to spend some time on top of your blazer?

I think it could come upart up there but it would be a pain to take it off and then probably worse to put it back in. So I would just hop up there and mount them while on top the roof. Then you can run wires better too.
