Default HID Headlamp Conversion

Now i know there is a few posts on this topic but, I just need to know personally. I have a 2001 2d 2wd blazer. I am considering doing a swap from my 9006 sylvania silver stars to 10,000K HID head lamps. What kind of problems would i encounter with a kit that includes
[ul][*]
2 x HID Bulbs
[*]
2 x Ballasts (with built-in starter/igniter for better performance)
[*]
2 x secure Mounting Brackets
[*]
Zip ties
[*]
All necessary wires and install accessories
[*]
Installation Manual
[*]
Warranty Card
[/ul]or you can just check out any of these products every kit includes the same things.

10000k is pretty blue...

Just make sure you disable your AHLs. The AHLs sends a voltage spike at start up which the HIDs dont enjoy all that much.

Unless you just really love the blue light, I wouldn't go higher than 5000K. I have 5000 and they're too blue for me.

This is a picture I took right after I installed my HIDs. They have since shifted to a slightly blue-er color...

I agree. Your going to get a brighter light with a 4300k. And with HID's they usually will color shift eventually giving you a hint of blue.
