Default Holes in the roof

I just purchased an 02, 2 door 4x4 that belonged to the county. Looks like they had mounted antennas to the roof as I have a 3/4" hole and a 1" hole up there. Anyone know an easy way to plug them? Thanks in advance!

Honestly, I would probably just fill them in with bondo. It seems a little too small to think about welding patches over them, and shouldn't crack under the flex of the roof. I'm sure someone else has a better idea, that I never in a million years would have thought to do, but as for cheap-fast-and easy, I would go with bondo.

you maybe able to find a 3/4 and 1 inch body plug at any place that sells auto body parts and supplys and then silicone them in place to make them water tight. quickest and easiest way i can think of.

Im goin this direction first, it sounded easier. Googlin' rubber plugs, body plugs, grommets, etc and I found these on eBay. RUBBER BLANKING GROMMETS
Think I'll give em a whirl.

Bondo will eventually crack, the previous owner removed the tire rack on my jimmy and filled the holes with bondo, and it has cracked.

I took my roof rack off mine but I welded up the holes don't really know of any other ways of doing it without having it leak or something later on.

Bondo in a hole in the roof will pop out in 2 weeks if daily driven. If parked outside right now in the winter even sooner.

Rubber plugs and silicone is your best bet besides welding the holes up.
