Default Hood?

On my 99 the hood has alot of little cracks in it. You can only tell when your close to it.

But I have had a friend tell me its just the clear coat cracking?

Is their a easy way to fix it? or do i just need to get it redone?

I think a careful wet sanding might do the job.

I think I might try that cuz Im trying to keep the paint and everything looking good.

Ive been trying to get my paint number so I can paint my grille to match the rest of the truck but I cant find it. I called my local Chevy house and they cant give it to me because I dont get my blazer serviced their.

Look on the RPO list on the inside of your glovebox door for the code number that is highlighted in the attached photo. That is your paint code and any Chevrolet dealer parts department can tell you the color name and supply touch-up paint, or you can use that info to buy it from the aftermarket.
