I'm gonna stick them on my hood but I'm gonna cut the hood out so the scoops are functional. I know someone who did it to his K5. I've never seen it but he said it works like it should.

i have a mixed feeling for them, some trucks look good with them, our blazers i dont really care muce for them, on a 1999 f-150 body style they lok good my brother had them but my stepdad has them on his 06 f150 and they are not the same contour as the hood so he is having problems with them staying on the hood completely. i can understand someone buying them for less than $100 when a hood is over $500

I wouldn't waste my money on them if your getting rid of your truck. Me personally I like the way they look blended and functional like what rabbitt is going to do, otherwise if money permits I would just get the ramair hood all ready to go just needs paint.

i dont know, in my opinion id say save up your money and buy a real hood. fake hoodscoops sometimes do have problems with lifting off when moisture gets underneith the seal. my friend had the same ones on his grand prix and they came off in less than a month when he bought a new hood cause they kept coming off. id say save your money.

get a hood. If you clean the surface right they should not come off though. That 3m red backed double sided tape is some tough stuff. Thats what holds most peoples emblems on their cars, and aftermarket chrome door handle/mirror covers ect. Your gonna have more money in them than you think by the time a shop paints them for you unless you leave em black.

i could get you the scoops for 45 plus shipping....And i could paint them to match your truck for another 50 bucks.

If your going to get rid of it i wouldn't bother.

me personally would say buy a real hood, but if you are getting rid of it, do nothing to it. save your money to fix up your next ride.
