If anyone is thinking about buying truck accessories from "Hunter", be careful. Their products will look fine when new but they do not last. They use low grade steel and will rust after just a few months. If you call them regarding any problem, their customerservice department is no help. I think there is only 1 person in that company. I get the same person everytime I called. He keeps telling me someone will contact me. They never did. I'm extremely not happy with Hunter.

A_TACK!!! www.cabelas.com

their trailgear line is very very good, Ive got a bunch of their stuff on my truck and so do most hunters in this area.

Now I just need to get a brush guard so I can nail this 5x5 that keeps taunting me daily.

Hey, I figured I'll dig up this post as it is directly targeting hunter. I read quite a lot about them as most people here use them, saw of course good and bad reviews, I just have a few questions to those of you that got one. How was the install, could you do it yourself or did you need to have it pro installed? What is the wheight of that thing? Anyone try coating it themselfs so it won't rust? I know this is more the City type brush guard, but as of right now I won't be needing it for more then front protection from shopping carts and small branches and stuff. I don't really offroad and I?m sure I?ll be getting something stronger if I do.

Thanks
Cedric
