Default How can I be so stupid????

Ok so I got some Dupli-color paint for my hood and fender yesterday and I got the burnt spots pretty much covered up and looking good. Not perfect but better. Well, I have one of those little stick on hood scoops and decided that I will paint it too since it was black. Well, I popped it off and painted it. I let it dry(about 3 coats of paint) and cleared it with about 4 coats of clear. It was looking deep and glossy!! I didnt even sand it cause I really wasnt concerned that much but man it was looking sharp! Well I let it dry for a few hours and I went to glue it back on the hood. I layed a rag over it and a 60 pound sandbag on top of it to hold it down so the glue would get a nice tight grip. Went out just a little bit and pulled everything off. Well....the rag stuck to the clearcoat! Now I gotta sand it down and re-clear it!! I got in to much of a hurry and wanted to get it done.
