how to remove very back windows

Default how to remove very back windows

i have a 2 door, and im trying to get the plastic off the very rear windows in order to refinish it, can anyone help with how to do this??

its a 2000 2WD 2D 5speed 4.3

These windows have to be cut out. they are glued in with a very tough adhesive called urethane. You could try to cut them out your self, but there is a high likely hood of breaking the glass.

This is the tool you will need if you want to try.

I would suggest removing the interior panels and cutting from the inside.

Otherwise you could find a glass shop or bodyshop to remove them.
They will have to be glued back in.
