Instrument panel swap

Instrument panel swap
I have the 96 instrument panel w/o the tach, I was thinking about swapping it out with one that did. Is this possible? If so, how hard would it be to hook up the tach???

I think they are plug-n-play... I am pretty sure they are on the 98+, but not sure on the 96-97...

I did this with my 01 cavalier and all you do is plug it in and the tach works automatically, the only thing is that in older cars before like 2000 i think it is, the computer isn't smart enough to change the mileage on its own. So youll sacrifice your mileage for the tach.

i just did this mod to my 97 and it works fine. New dash show 800 miles less

The 98+ should update the mileage, IIRC.
