Had a question, and looking for some answers or some direction.

So my drivers side door on my 97' Blazer LT 4x4 4dr has several little problems with it so I decided for cost sake to replace the whole damn thing. When looking through ads for cars being sold for parts I haven't found anything EXACT to my year/make and so on.

Will a door from a door from 97' 2dr blazer ls 4x4 4.3 fit onto a 97' blazer 4dr lt 4x4 4.3 ? Seems like a simple question im just not sure if the driver side door might be a bit wider on the 2dr... and if it does fit exactly would I just swap out the power window panel from the 4dr back instead of the 2 window panel?

yes it will fit and all you need to do is take the power window and power locks wire (its all there might as well) and run them through the door.

 

Called a GM parts dealer today and was told that the 2dr model doors are a bit wider and will not fit.....damnit ! Though I don't trust this guys answer since he responded in under a second on the phone. Just can't be sure.

Still don't know for sure, guess i'm just going to drive around town and find a 97' 2dr and measure the dimentions are the same..... unless somebody here on this forum has a 97' 2dr 4x4 LS and can't help me with this.
