Last night I noticed my interior lights wouldn't turn off with all the doors closed. Also the radio turns off as soon as the key is turned to off so apparently the car thinks one of the doors is open even though I've checked them all and made sure the close switches are depressing properly.

So how would I go about diagnosing this? Is there a central place where I can check all the switch inputs or do I need to check it at each switch? Also if I need to check it at each switch where is the liftgate switch? In the lock mech?

 

It's not your dimmer switch is it? If it's clicked up all the way they will stay on. I know it sounds stupid, but you gotta cover everything! lol.
If it's not that check the switches. The tailgate one should be in the actual latch.

 

Na already checked that. Besides that wouldn't make the radio shut-off immediately. The car definitely thinks one of the doors is open, thanks for the reply though. I guess the job this weekend is to check all the switches...
