Lightbulb Interior modification help

I have a 02 blazer LS and I am very annoyed with the cassette tape holder that is next to the center console. I really want to take it out and put something there but I dont know what to do. The gap is maybe 5x4 so its really limited on what I could do. I was thinking a speaker or something? please help!

how bout a CB radio or an equalizer, or do something unique like make a storage spot for an ipod or something. if your stereo has an ipod cable, you could make a plate or box and run the ipod wire there so it will keep it hidden and look somewhat factory. your limits are only what you can think up
