Default Leaves clogging up my passenger side cowel vent drain

i removed the cowl vent panel on my 95 S10 pick up, and i found a lot of leaves in there or above the firewall(not sure what its called). i was able to clean out the drivers with my hand, but i cant fit my hand down the passengers side. i see a lot of leaves buched up in there and they go down into a hole i guess somewhere along the fender. i cant stick my hand in there because of the way the truck is made with the metal on top blocking me from putting my hand down there directly. how can i get to the passenger cowl area side drain? please help. water is jamming up in there and staying there. sometimes it comes inside too
thanks so much

Try a vaccum cleaner with a flexable hose and suck the leaves out.

Yep, that should do it. If that does not and you have a compressor, make an extended nozzle for your blow gun with some brake line and use that to stir the junk up down further in the cowl. That in combination with a long flexible vacuum cleaner should allow you to get it all cleaned out.

i sucked most of the leaves out that are on the horisontal part of the passenger side cowl area but the part of the cowl near the edge that goes down vertically i could not get to. and theres still alot of leaves in there. i put the water hose in there but it did nothing...except now there is a leaf inside my blower motor ( because i hear it when i turn on the fan) and also some water came inside the truck down the firewall onto the floor mat. howcome? are the leaves clogging up everything and that water is coming inside because of them?
