for my switch panel i took the tape deck off of its lil thing that slides and locks it into the tape deck area. then i cut a sheet of aluminum the exact width of the tape deck. bent it 90 degrees, painted it, and then drilled a few holes and riveted it all together. now you cant tell that there was ever a tape deck in there.
