I just recently purchased a 02 zr2 and I'm wanting to put a bull bar and nerf bars on it. I don't want the safari bar. I've seen pics on the web of blazers with them so I know its possible. I know it might take modification to make it work. If anyone has information on what modifications have to be done and part numbers for bull bars and nerf bars I would appreciate it. I'm looking for black powder coat with chrome skid plate for the bull bar and black powder coat nerf bars.

 

I just purchased one from carid.com no mods required bolted right on model was a black horse

 

If you have the time and resources i would suggest making something yourself. I did that because i wanted a front hitch but still wanted a some what normal look.

 

I like what i have because of functionality (i can bumper push and not worry about damage on my end or use hitch to pull/get pulled out) and from the direct front doesn't look like there is really anything major there. But everyone has there own likes and dislikes. Check out the build forums on here and there are people that have already made up almost everything you can think of.

 

Another vote for building a custom one to really fit your needs. A local fab shop can help you if you don't have any experience.
