Manual to power seat swap
I know it has to be covered somewhere but I cannot find it...
2004 Blazer, has a worn out driver's seat. Found another seat to replace it with but it is power. What's it take to swap it? Is it going to be a direct bolt and plug in and it'll work, or will I need to plug a fuse in somewhere?
I only ask because I had a Chevy Venture mini van once as a work truck. Manual seat got worn out, I got a power seat for it, and the plugs were already there, all I had to do was put a breaker in the fuse box and it worked, didn't know if the same thing went for the Blazers as well?
The seat's out of a 2 door so it has the full lean forward thing going on, but if I'm not mistaken it'll still bolt right into a 4 door. If not, maybe the tracks are swapable? At lease the parts that bolt to the floor.

Check under the carpet on the drivers side, there might be the plug already there for power seats, as for bolting it in, it will be a direct bolt in.
If the wiring is not there, I am not sure, someone should be able to help with that on here.

yep, plug was there, bolted right down like the 4 door one I removed. everything power works great
I do like having the height adjustment though, I always seem to sit short in any Chevy seat... plus the GF is short so she'll like it too lol
now I just gotta get the passenger one to match, found a cigarette burn in mine lol
