How do I remove the rear seats in 97 Blazer? I can't seem to get the the plastic covering off the front mounts to reach the nuts. Is there a special trick I am not seeing yet?

 

come in from the rear (snicker) and use a standard screw driver to pry out. the clips hold side to side. pry gently and you will feel it give. in addition to the side-to-side clip action, they also sit over a little aluminum bolt spacer (slides over the bolt) so once you have the sides out, lift straight offf.
