hey gang. my 89 s-15 jimmy has power windows. the actual switches are gone. i was thinking of switching over to manual crank windows. who makes a kit to do that or will i need to just get new doors? if so where can i get them from?

I have never heard of anyone wanting to go from power window to manual. Very interesting.

well down here in Florida, a lot of people prefer manual windows in case of floods and such...im not sure of the legitimacy of floods actually stopping windows from working, but i know people tend to think that.

12V systems can work fully submerged in water for quite some time.

i am wanting the manual windows primarily because they were all i had in my past cars so it is what i'm used to. besides if the battery dies i can still roll the windows up or down.
