Default Outside lower door panels?

Can you take the side panels off of a blazer I'm talking about the ones that are on the outside and down by the bottom? You see I have a 99' blazer an it's the 2 tone 4 door type, top black and then those panel parts are gray and I really don't like the whole 2 tone thing I like the blazers without those panels and the doors are smooth almost the whole way, so does anybody know anything about that, if I can or if I do take those off are there goin to be big holes in the side of my door or what?

The trim? Yeah that stuff is just glued on. It'll take a little time for you to get the goo off, but there will be no holes. Someone will most likely chime in with some tricks on how to get it off quicker.

let it sit in the sun for awhile, then you can pull it off, as for getting the glue off, wd-40.. works amazing, and wont damage the paint.

You can use a heat gun to loosen up the glue and peel the panel off. Also, if you can get the panel started coming off, put some fishing line behind it. Heat up the panel and use the fishing line to "saw" the glue and help separate the panel from the body.
check out this vid. Wd-40 does work well but 3M makes a wax and grease remover that does a phenomenal job. Make sure it is the painted surface version. He is just taking off badges but this method will work for those panels you have too.
