Ok, so I have a 2001 Blazer LS 2door. I ran across this overhead console and got it all wired up.Now I think I may have screwed up big time. I got some self tappingscrews and I thought they would be short enough, but turns out, I now have 3 screws sticking out of the roof of my vehicle. Anyone hae any ideas? I was thinking of grinding them dwn and outting some silicone over them. If i ever get around to building a roof rack, you wont be able to notice.

 

Grinding them down? NOOOooooo Remove them, get shorter screws & try to silicone the holes.
Other people being able to notice or not, you might because of the water coming in the cab!
