Default Paint Advice

Hey guys, so I'm finally going to be getting my truck repainted.

It's currently the original colour, Grey and Dark blue two tone.

I was thinking of either keeping the original colour or going matte black.

I'm just hopping to get some incite on how matte pain works, does it get dirty easily?

Here's a sneak peak of what you truck will more or less look like with Matte Black paint.

Now unfortunately she hasn't really moved since being painted. But my guess is Flat black wouldn't show as much dirt as Glossy black, and its super easy to fix if it ever gets scratched. At least the way I painted mine.

I went to lowes and got a gallon of Rustoleum Flat Black, and threw that on the truck with a cheapish paint spray gun.

Now that I'm thinking about it... my dad's K5 tended to look dirty a lot, and it was gloss black. And it didn't do anything other than sit too.

Here's a little... sort of a comparison.

Edit: Oh, also Gloss black will make any imperfections show up way more than flat black.
