I decided my 98 Blazer could benefit from a little more visual appeal. I found a metallic emerald green paint I liked and also wanted to use a vinyl cutter to make some decals.
I did low effort render on MS paint to get an idea of how it would look. I had already made the flag for the window when I decided to start this so the stripes and fender flares was what I was doing next.
Finished product. Also, the person I bought it from put on 29" tires. I'll be correcting that mistake next cleaning the black paint off two of the rims.
Downloaded a custom Chevy font to cut out the ZR2. I was going to try and replicate the badge they use now but I liked this older style font better. (it reminds me of my friend's old Z28)
On the front, I relocated the markers and signals to the inside (mine didn't come from the factory with running lights, I found these assemblies at a scrap yard). Then I put LED strips in the fender flares. Both the strips and marker/signal bulbs are Switch Backs made by Diode Dynamics. when the signals come on, the illuminate amber then switch back to white afterwards.
