Default ZR2 Fender Flare

I saw a previous post in Mar 06 about this, and although I dont mind the scratches as character, my fender flares are getting a little out of hand. Anyone know the actual color of these? I believe I'm beyond touch up, but Id like to know any advice you may have.

Mine is a 2001 black ZR2.

Thank you

Man! While I was reading this post in my email, I thought... "DAMN, badges of honor man! No need to replace them or repaint them!!"

Thats a bad peeling problem... I'd sand them down and just shoot them all flat black again. You can buy a paint called Fusion (I can't remember the manufacturer), but if you were to strip those down to the plastic, this paint is made to bond with the plastic and stays on great.

As far as color, I think it's just a flat black. May not match right off because the rest of the pieces are oxidized a bit...

I think the rear flares are peeling from debris being kicked up when Im off road. I have no mud flaps, and from what Ive seen of other ZR2s, they dont either. Has anyone installed mud flaps on a ZR2 that they like?

Maybe add a little flex to that paint... so you dont have this happen anytime soon again. plastic parts tend to move and flex... so this will help "hard paint" stick with it...and be bendable
