Default Paint Probs

Well today i took the Bowtie decal off the tailgate on my xtreme and theres a HUGE problem..... Theres a really noticable dark spot in the shape of a bowtie lol. Is there any tips form you guys to help smooth this look out or atleast make it look alittle better. PLEASE HELP!

Is it the glue from the decal, or is the rest of the paint faded around it? If its the glue it will come off with a good cleaning solution and some elbow grease. If the paint is faded try and buff it out.

yea its just the paints faded. I used that 3M adhesive remover to see if it was the adhesive but that didnt work. Do you think a clay bar could smooth it out. the tailgate hasnt been claybarred yet so

A zone carries adhesive remover.

I've never used a clay bar, so alls I can say is to give it a try.

I'd say try the clay bar and give your truck a good waxing. that should work
