Default Painting Bowtie, Grille, Chrome strip

I want to spraypaint my grille, bowtie, and chrome strip matte black on my black blazer. I will probably also take all the badges off. My goal is to make it look meaner and more stealth. I was just looking for opinions on what I want to paint. Has anyone ever done something like this, and how do you think it will turn out.

I used a green scrubbie to rough it up first

I like the blacked out look
I plan on doing the grill on my black blazer in the warmer weather
I want to black out or remove the bow tie as well
Just not sure if I will do my wheels and grill in a dark graphite or black

I know duplicolor has "plastics" paint , not sure if that is better or not

Does anyone have a link to a more detailed way to paint the plastic chrome strip?

Default Painting it is no problem, just strip it down first

I replaced my grill with one from a 2000 blazer and in the process disassembled the chrome portion and bowtie. Really easy, just a few nuts that you take off the inside portion of the grille. I did a minimum amount of prep, just a scuff pad and cleaning and maybe three coats each piece to pull off the two tone theme. These pics also show the bumper being replaced which was also painted, here is a before and after.
