Looks ok...I see a bunch of scratches already on the bug guard though, so I don't see that lasting much more then a week on the road...especially since you didn't use a plastic paint like Krylon. Same with the cup holders..they will probably get extremely scratched from cups/bottles being put in and out of them (I already see some scratches on it...). But who knows, I may be wrong.

Edit: Is this the stuff?

Ok great. My dad's gonna pick some up for me.

Was priming it a bad idea? Will it still crack or get messed up with krylon over top of it?

Krylon was specifically designed to bond with the molecular structure of plastics and bond with it.

Greatest is right...you might be better off just keeping what you've done (instead of sanding it all off and starting over) and just put a coat or two of clear over the paint you've got. I'm not an expert on paint or krylon, but I'm not sure it will bond very well to other paint...

That's what I worried about, if it bonds to the other paint, and the other paint cracks, I'm in trouble!

So I clear paint it, and then spray kyron over it? And I can use any clear?

no, no. You want to clear and leave it. Clear is a finish coat which will protect that paint you've already applied to it (save you from scratches). Paint will definitely not bond to clear...krylon or not.

Ok. Well what I got now is Primer, not actual paint. I still gotta finish it up with the final color (black for the bug guard, and I'll probably re-do the cup holder and do krylon).

My dadn's getting some clear and black kyrlon today. I can do the krylon over the primer and then clear it right?
