Rubbing alchohol will dissolve that sort of stuff pretty quick. Like previously said, a blow dryer and a razorblade oughtta do you some good.

Oh, and patience.

I have done a few cars and the easiest and fasted it razor blade and baby shampoo. The baby shampoo mixed with water. Peal off all the tint using the razor blade, once you have all the tint off soak the glue with the baby shampoo and use the razor blade to get the glue off.... Easy a pie... I have tried the heat gun way and it was a pain, but that was just my experience

Well if I remove the tint myself it'll save me quite a bit of money. I figured since I have all of the interior out now anyway I could try it so it wouldn't be bad trying to clean it up

Agreed on the money savings... Well worth doing it yourself.

I've used baby shampoo and GooGone and other stuff. They all work okay. The easiest method I've ever hit on is the razor blade like a scraper at an angle and alcohol based window cleaner. The alcohol will liquify the glue and when it dries and gets sticky again, you just spritz it again. Add in patience and you'll never know it had tint on it when you get done. 20/20 and Clearvue as well as others are alcohol based. Windex with ammonia won't touch the glue.
