the drivers side mirror on my '99 blazer has a brown/gold tint on it to tone down glare but the tint is begining to come off and i would like to take the rest off.
does anybody know how to remove it withour damaging the mirror?

 

with Simple Green and a flat razor blade, soak the liquid into it and VERY slowly and carefully use the razor to get it off.... be careful.

 

i am not sure, but it feels like the tint is below the glass of the mirror because a rubbed my fingernail along the line where the tint is comming off and i could not feel it

 

Are they stock or aftermarket mirrors?

 

i think that it is stock, everything else on it is stock

does anybody have this sort of tint on their mirror?
