So say I slide sideways and slam into my bosses huge truck, killing my passenger fender, door and panel behind. Whats the best way to repair the damage to the panel behind the door and what exactly is included in a 'door shell'?

Shell is a bit confusing. It's most likely the outer skin which would require unfolding all the edges that are also glued to the inner 'frame'. Quite a bit of work but can be done with a cutoff or grinder if you are careful. You'll end up painting anyway, so you might as well hold-off and wait to find a door off one being parted out. That would save you the time and labor of fixing a door and painting it anyway.

Awesome, that's what I wanted to hear... well it being a whole door w/ frame would be better ;p but thanks

In everything that I have ever ordered, skin = skin, shell = whole door.
