Default Roo basket

Been looking around for a decent roof basket for my Z and not wanting to spend a ton on a basket I decided to make my own.

Went to home depot and got some EMT electrical conduit and self tapping screws. Took me a day to put it together and paint it. I only spent 60 bucks on the supplies and had all the tools.
Everything is bolted together with self tapping hex screws and surprisingly is extremely strong and solid, was able to stand on it and put all my weight without any bending
Specs on it:
48”L x 38”W x 6.5”H 3/4 tubing for the frame and 1/2 tubing for the cross members
going to be adding some diamond plate around the corners for the look.

Looks pretty damn nice for conduit, what did you use to tie it down to the factory "rack"? Detailed pi s are a plus. LOVIN' the rims btw, awesome look overall......

Yeah I am surprised on how good it turned out plus how sturdy it is. I can grab any part of it and move my entire car.
I secured it with some U-bolts right now until I can come up with a better design to secure it down. But now its holding perfectly
