side mirror

Default side mirror

What is the best stuff to glue the glass into the side mirror housing? i slammed my door and the mirror popped out.. i tried construction adhesive.. that held for about about year...

Im not much help for this but possibly some sort of that flex glue stuff. Water and weatherproof. Or you could just get a mirror off of a junkyard blazer or bravada or jimmy so you dont have to worry about keeping up with adhesive and losing your glass somewhere

I normally use 3M autobody tape for that type of job. The key though is to get everything super clean, removing all the old adhesive, and clean it with alcohol before applying the tape. This will remove any oils and such allowing the adhesive to bond really well.
