A whole lot of work, he did a real good job on them. Seems like a whole lot of work though for a truck that's work it.
This would be a good idea to fix up a set of stock fender flares with fiberglass and or modify them. A lot of work to just start from styrofoam sheets. If you fiberglassed your fender flares and they were black to begin with, does the fiberglass resin completely distort the color,; or can it be like a clear coat. If it went on like a clear coat and didn't affect the black gloss I would fiberglass mine for extra strength. But, I get the feeling I would make them worse and it wouldn't be like a clear coat at all.
