Default spare tire carrier catch?

im going to be replacing the bushing on the spare tire carrier on my 01 zr2 because its making alot of noise. i was looking at the catch pin, the part on the tailgate, and it has a bunch of electrical tape or something wrapped around it and is warn pretty bad, so i was going to replace it aswell, dealer says its discontinued. anyone know where i can get one? or have measurements for it so i can make or buy something?

Thanks
