I was with some mudders this evening and this guy swears that PAM Cooking Spray is the new mud slider. He claims that most PRO's use PAM to keep mud and etc. away from areas and it just "just plops off". He sparys it every where on his truck.
Has anyone heard of this?
Not that this should sway your comments.....he is a Ford dude.

YUP! It's very true. I used to do it myself. I had a TJ Wrangler that was lifted with big 33x12.50s on it and when we would be doing any serious mudding, we'd spray Pam on the vehicles ahead of time. Nothing sticks (just like food!!) and you just spray it off when you get home and give it a regular wash the next day. It saves those all-day washes to try and get all the caked-on mud off.
I also see guys doing it at the local motorsports park I go to (Buck Motorsports) before they make a run through the mud.

Ohhh that's a big pic!
Pam actually makes sense, I think I'll try it.
Maybe I could cook an egg on the hood in the summer and not have it stick. You know, cut down on carrying all that camping gear.

We use baby oil on the car at the dirt circletrack on the weekends when My buddy races. Doesn't smell half bad either. LOL
