I have a 87 k5 blazer I just purchased and the tailgate is trashed. I wanted to put a fastback soft top on it eventually anyway so I was wondering if I could use the tailgate a friend of mine has from his 86 Scottsdale pickup. Obviously it doesnt have the glass which is fine because I want to make the fastback style soft top anyway unless anyone on here knows where I can buy one.

 

ive seen it done but dont really know whats involved, i did a google image search of "pick up tailgate on k5" and it comes up with a few pictures of what your talking about but they are on one of those websites where you have to be a paying member to see them
