im just saying here is a set i just did last week.. this was done with the light smoke not the dark.


and as you can see he lost the rally stripe too and I made a boss like stripe for him too..

no the shop is to dusty for window tint.. we cut boxes almost every day

you can still see them at night, and ive been pulled over for speeding and the cop said nothing about my lights

I've used VHT on my old sunfire - 2-3 coats MAX with highly leaning to 2 coats lol... the sunfire was black and during the day u couldn't see the red in the tails but at night u couldn't ever tell they were tinted because the red showed thru quite nice. i plan to pick up a new set of tails for my cav and do them proper like with sanding and everything on the vht with 2 coats again.
But hell for about what $15 a can and u can do 2 sets of medium ish sized lights its the way to go i think.

Yeah most states if not all are busting people for tinted tail lights. I live in NJ and in jersey youre not supposed to have any tint. But mine are lol. It looks nice and ives your ride a unique look. Ive been pulled over for my windows and theyve just warned me about the tail lights. A good idea is to only tint the tail light and cut out the turn signal or do the turn signal at a much higher percentage tint so the cops stay off your back a little
