Torx Size for Cargo Tie down/Grounding spot
Hi everyone-
I'm installing an amp in the back of my 2001 Jimmy SLS and I need to find a good ground spot. I don't want to drill a new one, and the existing ones are near impossible to access. So I was thinking of using where the ties down are in the cargo area. I don't know what size Torx bit to use, though and even if I get the clip off, do you think this will yield a good spot for grounding, if I Dremel away any paint to get to the metal underneath? Does anyone know of a better spot if so?
Thanks,
Michael

If I could access one of those better I'd use them, but the angle they're put in, with the seat in font of it, makes it impossible to unscrew without taking the seat out. That's too much trouble. There must be an easier way.
That's a HUGE help. Thank you so much!! My problem was that I'm an idiot and wasn't pulling the seat forward enough to even see the bottom bolts, just the ones at a 45-degree angle. And even then I wasn't pulling the seat forward enough. I just bought this truck so I'm learning what's what and with a lot of things, if you have to force it, you're probably doing it wrong. And I thought I was forcing the seat forward and didn't want to break something.
Thanks a million for your help. You saved the day!
