Yeah I'm gonna install a switch panel in mine. I don't even own a cassette tape. Ha

I have a cassette player in my dash and the console has a 6 Disc player in it.

I like the way you did that mike! did you just use a shell for a radio or did you fab that?

Its the actual cassette player, i just gutted it and used the body and the top metal part to trim out a piece for the face of it. and how i attached it to the face is i trimmed the plastic face of the cassette but left the outer edge, as shown by the red rectangle.

and i used some 3m weather stripping adhesive i had to attach the metal piece to it.

Finally got some switches and got around to putting them in, and this is what i came up with.

with the switches i got, there is a prong on the side and installing them vertical wouldnt work. with there being no top to the cassette player i gutted. it worked upside down. and of course the 2 sideways had no problems.
