Nice looking bumpers Tom! Since this thread is kinda going towards built vs bought. My bumper that is still a work in progress.

Thanks for all the input and photos everyone. Trying to get ideas on how to go about doing this and figuring out what I want it to look like. Along with the winch mount and bumper am also looking for crash protection against a deer hit. TOM A, your bull bar looks nice. Should protect the front grille area nicely. Will have to aim for the deer instead of steering clear and risk the quarter panel...

Thanks. Luckily I've never had to try it out on a deer, but I like to think it would hold up well.

I noticed you're in NorCal. Whereabouts? If you're semi-local to me, I might be able to help you out a little when you're ready to build.
