Default ZR2 fender flair

Fender trim between body and flair coming loose on ZR2. I removed the trim screws around the under side of the flair but that didn't loosen it up. It appears I need to pull the flair away from the fender so I can slip the trim piece back in. How do I do this?

I was under the impression that the little bit of trim is attached via an adhesive or somthing...? I always run across flares like this in the man mall.

Theres bolts that go through the side of the fender(front), side panel(rear). If you loosen them, you can re-aligne the rubber...

and there is adhesive in the groove of the rubber before placed onto the flare. But like all double sided tape, it weakens and loosens...
