i plan on a wait for me tune to wake it up a bit and boost some mpgs. 169 bucks with a new pcm programmed and shipped to you sounds pretty nice for what they do. i have read only good things about them

Yeah I've done some research on tune-ups for a while, I've just never had enough to do it

i just had mine done by Wait4me and i really like it so far. i get about 20-21 mpg in 50/50 city/highway running premium. so its a pretty good deal.

What sort of power and performance gains do you get from it though?

its definitely a lot peppier now. gets out of first and second gear quite quickly. it shifts a lot better, better down shifts and it jumps pretty good when shifting out of first and second. and it doesnt sit down quite as easy on hills, so you dont have to push on the gas as hard to get it to shift into a lower gear (because the tune decreases the torque management). someone did an actual track test with the tune and their 0-60 time increased by 1 second which is a lot.
