Something else I'd like to know would be the lengths of the 4x4 nv3500 trans auto vs manual. I cannot find anything on the lengths of these transmissions at all! Another thing is that the 4 door blazers are 6.5 inchs longer than the 2 door. So if I convert to 5 speed than it looks like I would have to get a custom driveshafts, assuming that the nv3500's manual trans's are the same length as the auto's.

 

Well I found this about the 2 dr vs 4 door driveshafts. It says that the 4x4 2dr rear driveshaft lenght is 34.5" and the 4x4 4 doors is 37.25" which leads me to belive Ill have to get a custom driveshaft when converting to a 5 speed.
