hey there im looking to upgrade the performance, would like to get it at about 250 from where its sitting now at 195. What would be the best and cheapest way to upgrade the blazers performance?

95 is probably the worst year to try to do anything with unless its a v8 swap. It's the dreaded obd1.5, some are one way, others are another. Just a pain. serious power comes with serious money
the intake is pretty good flowing, you can try to get a better filter element and ditch the box. Other than that maybe open the exhaust up a little, but you do NEED backpressure so no straight pipes or true duals, it will actually loose power. we are talking maybe 5-10hp max after all that tho.

You can build a decent 4.3; it's just a 350 with two cylinders lobbed off. Drive the blazer as is, and buy a used 4.3 and start rebuilding it into the hp monster you want in your garage. Then swap em out one weekend!
