Best performance upgrade for a semi low cost?
I'm 17, and I own an 01 blazer sport. I'm looking to get a nice performance boost for a relatively cheap cost. I thought about getting it super charged, but I saw that that will run me about 2500 dollars. I wanted something for around a few hundred bucks that would get me a nice boost. I was thinking maybe getting a cold air intake? What do you think? Thanks!
nitrous is your best bet besides an LS Swap.
cai headers and all that jazz are minuscule compared to expense
Nitrous on a stock 4.3l in a 2001 with probably close to 200k on it, that sounds like a recipe for good times lol
A nitrous kit might only cost you a couple hundred bucks, going to cost you a hole lot more after you burn a hole through a piston, lift a head, or send a rod through the side of the block...
btw, this thread was started 6 1/2 years ago...I haven't known any 17 year old to keep a vehicle for 6 1/2 years... hell by the time I was 18 I had sold and got a new vehicle 3 times already...
