Better acceleration

to get it is all that i really need just better intake, headers, and exaust?

whats the best brands do you all think?

While I am skeptical of theactual benefits of an aftermarket intake, I would say true headers along with a catback exhaust system and a power programming of the ECM would be the first things you might want to try. They're still not going to give you a barn burner, since the 4.3 engine is just not designed internally for it. It is, after all, a small truck engine.

just something to give it a llitle more power on the take off

currently its preety slow and i usually have to allmost floor it just to get up to speed on the highway

hypertech programmer of a jetchip module would probably be one of the better things to buy. but an intake/headers/exhaust overhaul would really help out too... a supercharger would also help out quite a bit [sm=icon_rock.gif]
