Default Which one do you think is better and why

Granatelli Motor Sports Mass Airflow Sensors
or
Jet mass airflow sensor

The Jet is 10 bucks more but out of stock.

Why do you ask? I am almost positive that our MAFs are the same used on the GM v8s... Our 4.3L will not outflow the MAF and many times, a new MAF requires a custom MAF table. That goes for just boring out your stock MAF. Anytime you increase the airflow through the MAF, the maf tables must be updated so that the computer knows that it is getting more air. More air + same fuel = LEAN condition!!!

How a Mass Air Flow sensor works:
The MAF in our blazers uses elements (3 in most cases) which is given a specific voltage. The output of the sensor is changed by how much the airflow these elements sense. By opening up the cross-sectional area of the sensor, you are allowing more airflow through the sensor, but because the PCM is calibrated to the old cross-sectional area, it still thinks its only getting x cfm, when it is getting x+y cfm (y being the increase over x). Just because you increased the airflow through the sensor doesn't mean that the PCM will know its there. The elements are in specific spots and you would think that more airflow means that the elements would sense more airflow resulting in the PCM knowing there's more air, but that is not the case with non-adaptive/non-modifiable MAF tables in the PCM. Since everything is calibrated, things need to be updated in the PCM to take advantage and not cause problems.
