Default Fuel Pressure Gauge - Is this safe?

So due to my recent problems I've decided to install a fuel pressure guage. I created the hose as pictured below. It consists of a -4an hose end, a 1ft section of Fuel Injection hose, a brass 1/4 npt barb,a 1/4 to 1/8 npt female to female reducer, and finaly a 100 psi oil pressure sender(im using an oil pressure setup cause im a cheap bastard and i was told it is the same as a fuel pressure gauge.).

now the plan is to remove the shrader from the fuel rail and permanently install this hose and then zip tie the sender under the hood about 8 inces to the left of the wiper motor.

My question is; IS THIS SAFE?

Obviosly it makes me nervous, so please either reasure me itll all be ok, or tell me im a crazy idiot! Thanks!

EDIT: I can't believe nobody has ANYTHING to say about this?

I haven't responded because I can't tell what you used in the picture... Was hoping for some better pics... Regardless, I wouldn't leave it installed all of the time.

Don't you have another thread on your codes... If so, please keep the discussion there.

Just noticed that the last post got chewed up or something... anyways to the point.

I have had the gauge on the fuel schrader port, minus the schrader port innerds, for over a year now with no know ill effects.
