helping my blazer live longer
this is my first vehicle and i want it to live as long as i can
heres the things i hvae done to it so far
K&N Air filter put it
Valve head gaskets replaced
Heater core replaced
Oil changed
next thing i want to do is get a throttle body spacer
but where do i go after that to just try and help it live longer, increase performance, and maybe help out with MPG

The best thing that you can do to ensure a long life in your truck is to keep up with all the maintainence.
Change all the fluids regularly, treat the rubber weatherstrips, clean all the mud and salt of the bottom every spring etc...

your car sounds exactly like mine and this is exactly what i'm trying to do with my blazer (minus the HP increasing). i spent only $500but mine is a242,xxx mi. vehicle lol, butstill runs strong! to increase longevity, you can seafoam the motor to flush out everything (top end, injectors, TB, oil system). then, dump some Engine Restore in the oil to restore compression. after that, switch to synthetic to keep it running strong. make sure all fluids are properly changed at all times, and this will maximize performance, MPG and the overall life of the vehicle!
alright so i think this is what im going to do
put 1/3 of the can in the gas tank
1/3 in the engine
1/3 in the brake booster
let sit for 10 minutes then rev it up, drive it around for a while till all the smoke clears, change the oil and then its done
is this the right way??
